Welcome  to First Baptist. One of the great joys of worship is to be with people who love the Lord and have a desire to experience the presence of God. We pray that you can come worship with us and  experience God's presence in your life, and experience the sweet family fellowship that we enjoy at First Baptist.

Our purpose at First Baptist is to glorify God in sharing the gospel message, and the discipleship of Christians through the teaching of God’s Word.  We seek to share the Gospel to our world, and  to provide a place and opportunity for ministry. We preach the Bible “simple and true”, and believe it has the power to change lives.  We invite you to come and be a part of this special family.

Mrs. Roberta Fields has attended First Baptist since 1967, and became a member in 1969. She has faithfully served as Sunday School teacher in the Pre-primary and Primary Departments since 1972.  She is a Graduate of Salisbury State College (1986) and has been a Teacher at Seaford Christian Academy since it began in 1973. Mrs. Fields has served as Church Clerk for two periods, the most recent term beginning in 1998. She resides in Bridgeville with her husband Oscar. 

Matthew has attended First Baptist Church his entire life. His family roots with the church began in 1953 when his great-grandmother became a member. He has faithfully served as Treasurer since 2002 and is only the second treasurer in the church's 60 year history. He graduated from Seaford High School and attended Delaware Technical & Community College. He works in banking as an Anti Money Laundering Investigations Specialist.
